New! iQualNet software ::: Measure QoS (Quality of Service) and QoE (Quality of Experience) metrics – IPv4 & IPv6 Networks

ZTI Communications offers IP software testing tools you can use in various situations to test, measure, stress and control IP networks (IPv4 & IPv6) and equipments. With our IP network software you can:

  • generate traffic with various load and throughput profiles
  • impair traffic and thus evaluate the behavior of products and applications
  • measure QoS and network performance metrics (jitter, lost packets, transit delay …)
  • tune the configuration of your IP equipment (gateways, NAS, terminals, routers …)
  • test and measure IP equipment performance
  • test and stress IP applications, e.g. Voice over IP, Video and Fax over IP, VoD and more…
  • manage network bandwidth (traffic-shaping)
  • view and control traffic statistics
  • simulate delays, limited throughput and network impairments

These tools are particularly useful and well appreciated by operators, ISPs, telecom equipment manufacturers, test and qualification labs, integrators, and network administrators to analyze behavior and network sizing.

These products allow detecting, diagnosing and forecast problems associated with management of IP networks, such as:

  • the use of applications requiring a guaranteed bandwidth,
  • the incidence of PC and workstations multiplication on an IP link,
  • the random use of the network bandwidth,
  • the impact of packet management algorithms by the routers introducing loss packets and / or delayed packet transmission.

LanTraffic V2 | Standard or Enhanced Edition

IP Traffic Generator for IP Networks (IPv4 & IPv6): FTTx, LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN, Mobile, Satellite, PLC and more…
Windows XP (Standard Edition only), Vista, Seven, 8, 10, Server 2003, Server 2008 and Server 2012.
Standard Edition: 10/100/1000Mbps
Enhanced Edition: 10Gbps & Windows x64

This tool manages 32 IP connections (16 sending and 16 receiving connections) by offering a wide choice of parameters settings and traffic visualization.
Each sending connection (TCP, UDP, ICMP or SCTP) can have parameters set individually to generate various traffic shapes, and each receiving connection (TCP or UDP) can be configured into several working modes: ‘echoer’, ‘absorber’ …

IP Traffic – Test & Measure

IP Traffic Generator & QoS Measurement Tool for IP Networks (IPv4 & IPv6) 10/100/1000 Mbps: FTTx, LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN, Mobile, Satellite, PLC and more…
All modern versions of Microsoft Windows are supported – from XP to Windows 10 with 32-bit or 64-bit environment, including Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Windows Vista, Seven, 8 and 10.

You can generate, receive, capture and replay IP traffic, and measure end-to-end performances and Quality of Service over IP networks.
The optional use of an external time Receiver synchronized by GNSS provides an absolute reference clock. This allows time stamping of IP packets sent or received, and measurement of QoS parameters over the IP network used.

NetDisturb | Standard or Enhanced Edition

Impairment Emulator Software for IP Networks (IPv4 & IPv6) 10/100/1000 Mbps.
Accuracy = 1 millisecond – 64-bit version of Windows Seven, Eight or 10, and Server 2008 R2.
NetDisturb is an IP network emulator software which can generate impairments: latency, delay, jitter, bandwidth limitation, lost, duplicate packets and impaired packets contents over IP networks (IPv4 and IPv6).

NetDisturb allows the user to disturb flows on an IP network and so to study the behavior of applications, devices or services in a disturbed network environment.
NetDisturb is inserted between two Ethernet segments (on the same IP network or two different IP networks) and operates bi-directional packet transfer on Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit network interface cards.
New! NetDisturb Enhanced Edition including impairments for applicative protocols.

iQualNet | Standard or Enhanced Edition

The iQualNet software is a QoS (Quality of Service) and QoE (Quality of Experience) measurement tool for IPv4 and IPv6 networks. This tool runs on Windows platform clients and is used to measure metrics on any type of IP network: fixed, mobile, satellite, WiFi, PLC and more…

To measure End-to-End QoS and QoE parameters, iQualNet uses real applications and a reference server.
iQualNet generates real traffic, not simulated or emulated traffic.
One or more iQualNet clients dialog via the Internet with the iQualNet reference server or other external servers by using the access network to characterize. The use of the reference server allows to ensure the availability of services used by a remote iQualNet client on a site and to guarantee adequate bandwidth for tests realized (resources reservation is made by the server for testing from an iQualNet remote station). Thus, only the network metrics are characterized and the client or server adds no uncertainty.
